The Columbus Italian Festival is looking for volunteers to help make this year’s celebration a success!
Volunteers receive free festival admission, complimentary parking with shuttle service to and from the festival, and a free meal for shifts of four hours or more. If you have a preferred area you’d like to work in, please indicate it on the form—otherwise, you’ll be assigned where help is most needed.
All volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum four-hour shift, and you’re welcome to sign up for one or multiple shifts throughout the weekend.
Festival Hours:
Friday, October 9 | 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday, October 10 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Sunday, October 11 | 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Ready to join us? Sign up using the form here and be part of one of Columbus’ most beloved traditions!
“My heart is filled with great joy and gratitude to God for giving us the inspiration and the strength to do what we have done.” – Fr. Casto Marrapese, founder of the Columbus Italian Festival, reflecting on the organizers and volunteers who brought the very first festival to life in 1980.
Volunteer Parking
All volunteers should park at the Columbus State Community College Parking Garage.
Parking and shuttle service are completely free and provide the most convenient access to the festival.
Volunteer Disclaimer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Submission of a volunteer sign-up form does not guarantee placement. All volunteers will be contacted by the appropriate committee or area chair to confirm availability and determine scheduling needs. Assignments are based on event requirements, volunteer capacity, role availability, and scheduling needs.
Please note that certain volunteer positions require participants to be 21 years of age or older, including but not limited to cash collection, alcohol sales, and other designated areas in compliance with event policies and applicable laws.
We greatly appreciate your willingness to help and your flexibility as volunteer assignments are finalized.
