Amanda Beagle is a New York City based soprano equally at home in musical theater, operetta, cabaret and the concert stage. A proud member of the Actors Equity Association, she made her NYC debut at Lincoln Center performing with the Little Orchestra Society and has played leading roles in professional regional theater productions of The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, Les Miserables, Beauty in the Beast, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Into the Woods and The Gift of the Magi.
Amanda studied opera and Italian at the Opera Theater of Lucca, Italy under the tutelage of beloved Italian diction coach, Lorenzo Malfatti. She has traveled the world singing on Holland America’s luxury cruise liners and has entertained at some of New York City’s most iconic venues including Sardi’s Restaurant, The Metropolitan Room, and Ferrara’s in Little Italy as well as Lake Chautauqua’s Floating Stage.
Passionate about her own Italian heritage, Amanda recently released an album entitled, “Amanda Beagle Sings Favorites from the Italian American Songbook” which is available on iTunes. A native of Warren, OH, Amanda was Miss Ohio 2004 and won a talent award at Miss America singing Giacomo Puccini’s “Quando m’en vo.”
